Job Description
The SOC Intern – IT Sales & Business Development will focus on buildingandnurturing relationships with potential clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs, and promoting our SOC solutions. You will work closely with our sales and securityteams to drive sales initiatives, support client acquisition efforts, and identify business
growth opportunities. This internship offers valuable experience in the cybersecurityindustry, sales, and business development.
Responsibilities:
Client Outreach: Conduct outreach to prospective clients via emails, calls, and social media to introduce our SOC services and initiate discussions.
Lead Generation: Identify new leads and business opportunities byresearching potential clients, markets, and trends within the ITandcybersecurity sectors.
Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, andreports, tailored to client needs and SOC services.
Market Research: Perform research on competitor offerings, market trends, and potential client needs to support strategic sales decisions.
Client Relationship Building: Help manage and foster relationships withexisting and prospective clients, supporting account management and post- sales activities as needed. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client
information, and progress in our CRM system.
Collaboration: Work closely with the SOC team and security experts tounderstand service offerings, ensuring accurate communication of services topotential clients.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales metrics, including client
engagement, sales targets, and pipeline activity.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree programin Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to work in sales
and client-facing roles.
Basic understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
